Cleveland is launching the new HiBore XL and HiBore XL Lite drivers, priced at $399.99 with features designed for mid- and higher-handicap golfers seeking distance and forgiveness. The drivers feature a titanium face and chassis with an adjustable hosel, and will be available starting December 6. Cleveland used artificial intelligence to design a triangular head shape that optimizes forgiveness, ball speed, and sound.

In the late 2000s, Cleveland HiBore drivers were popular on the PGA Tour and known for their unique design. The new HiBore XL drivers feature a triangular shape developed using artificial intelligence to enhance forgiveness, distance, and sound. The face and hitting area are 19 percent larger, helping to broaden the sweet spot and maintain ball speed on off-center hits. ActivWing technology stabilizes the head on the downswing, improving performance and consistency.

The HiBore XL Lite driver is ideal for players seeking more clubhead speed or battling a slice. It features the same technology as the standard HiBore XL but is designed with a draw bias and comes with a lighter shaft and grip. The driver generates slightly more spin to help slower- and moderate-speed players achieve more carry distance. Both drivers feature a hosel sleeve that allows players and fitters to adjust the loft by up to 1.5 degrees.

The Action Mass CB shaft design in the HiBore XL driver counterbalances the weight of the head, making the club feel lighter and potentially easier to swing. Additionally, a 12-gram weight in the back of the head pulls the center of gravity down and back, away from the hitting area, contributing to improved performance. Custom fitters can adjust the weight to change the club’s swing weight according to individual preferences.

Overall, the Cleveland HiBore XL and HiBore XL Lite drivers are designed to provide mid- and higher-handicap golfers with a winning combination of forgiveness, distance, and enhanced sound. With advanced technology such as artificial intelligence shaping, ActivWing stabilization, and customizable weight options, these drivers offer a comprehensive solution to improve performance on the golf course. Available for purchase starting December 6, these drivers are sure to attract golfers seeking to elevate their game with cutting-edge equipment.
