Scottie Scheffler, a two-time Masters champion and undisputed World No. 1, has put his 2012 GMC Yukon XL up for sale through Heritage Auctions. The Kelley Blue Book sets the resale value for this model at $8,571, but with 184,000 miles on it and having crossed the United States several times in the mid-to-late 2010s, its value is expected to be higher. The car is also a special “Master Edition” Yukon GMC, purchased in Augusta, Ga. during Masters week. The starting bid for this unique vehicle is $50,000, with proceeds from the sale going to support the Triumph Over Kid Cancer charity.

Scott Scheffler gifted the Yukon XL to his son when he turned professional in 2018, and Scottie drove the car all over the United States as he began his ascent in the world of golf. Scottie’s father suggested auctioning off the car earlier this year to benefit the TOKC charity, started by the family of a junior golf friend who passed away from a rare form of bone cancer. CBS Sports broadcaster Jim Nantz has already pledged $50,000 for the car to help drive up the bidding. Those interested in participating in the auction can do so through a provided link, with more information about the charity available on their website.

The auction of Scottie Scheffler’s Yukon XL presents a unique opportunity for golf fans and car enthusiasts to own a piece of golf history. The car has been a part of Scheffler’s journey to becoming a top-ranked golfer, traveling with him to various tournaments and events across the country. With its special “Master Edition” origins and connection to the Masters week, this vehicle holds sentimental value in addition to its practical use. The starting bid of $50,000 reflects the car’s uniqueness and the charitable cause it will support through its sale.

Heritage Auctions is facilitating the sale of Scottie Scheffler’s Yukon XL, making it accessible to a wide audience of potential buyers. The auction provides an opportunity for fans of Scheffler, golf enthusiasts, and supporters of the Triumph Over Kid Cancer charity to contribute to a worthy cause while acquiring a special piece of memorabilia. The association of the car with Scheffler’s rise in the golf world adds to its appeal and makes it a desirable item for collectors. Bidders can participate in the auction online, making it convenient for interested parties to join in the bidding process.

The backstory of Scottie Scheffler’s Yukon XL adds to its allure, with its history of accompanying the golfer on his journey to success. The car’s unique features, including the special “Master Edition” designation and its ties to the Masters week, make it a standout vehicle with a distinct identity. Purchasing this car not only provides a tangible connection to Scheffler’s career but also contributes to a charitable cause, supporting efforts to help children battling cancer. The auction of the Yukon XL presents a compelling opportunity for individuals looking to own a piece of golfing history while making a meaningful impact through their purchase.
