Charley Hull emerged victorious at the Aramco Team Series Riyadh, showcasing a spectacular performance with a final round score of six-under par, securing a three-shot victory in Saudi Arabia. Starting the day two shots behind Pia Babnik, Hull made an impressive start at Riyadh Golf Club by birdieing five of her first seven holes, taking the lead by four shots. Her competitors struggled to keep up with her pace as Babnik, Luna Sobron Galmes, and Fatima Fernandez Cano all finished with over-par rounds, allowing Hull to secure a comfortable win with three more birdies and two bogeys on the back-nine to finish 18-under par for the tournament.

“I feel like my game’s been pretty good all season,” expressed the 28-year-old Hull after claiming her victory, marking her first win in over two years and only her fourth win on the Ladies European Tour. Following her last victory on the LPGA Tour in Texas in October 2022, Hull had accumulated eight runner-up finishes, making this win even more rewarding. She highlighted the significance of winning at the event sponsored by Golf Saudi in Saudi Arabia, stating, “It feels really good to win again, especially here in Saudi. It’s just great to be here and get that win. I felt really sharp and played really solid out there – 18-under across three days is a pretty good score.”

Hull’s impressive display elevated her to third place in the Order of Merit, with Chiara Tamburlini, a member of the winning team, securing the season-long standings and making history as the first Swiss player to win both the Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year honors. Nicole Broch Estrup secured second place behind Hull, overcoming past challenges from signing a wrong scorecard in 2023 by finishing as the runner-up with a score of 15-under par, followed by Babnik in third place at 14 under. Hull’s rounds of 65, 67, and 66 showcased her consistency and determination on the course, ultimately leading to her well-deserved victory.

The Aramco Team Series Riyadh presented Hull with an opportunity to demonstrate her skills and competitive spirit, showcasing a remarkable performance that highlighted her talent and experience in the sport. Her strategic approach and unwavering focus enabled her to maintain a lead throughout the tournament, culminating in a significant win that marked a milestone in her career. By embracing the challenges and pressures of professional golf, Hull was able to showcase her resilience and determination, setting an example for aspiring golfers and fans alike.

As Hull basked in the glory of her victory, she reflected on the hard work and dedication that had contributed to her success, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and self-belief in achieving one’s goals. Her triumph at the Aramco Team Series Riyadh not only solidified her reputation as a formidable competitor on the tour but also provided her with a renewed sense of confidence and motivation to continue pursuing excellence in her craft. With her sights set on future competitions and challenges, Hull remains determined to build on her recent success and further establish herself as a dominant force in women’s professional golf.

In conclusion, Charley Hull’s triumphant performance at the Aramco Team Series Riyadh showcased her exceptional talent and skill, earning her a well-deserved victory and a prominent spot in the Order of Merit. Through her unwavering determination and competitive spirit, Hull demonstrated the qualities of a true champion, inspiring fans and fellow athletes with her incredible display of golfing prowess. As she embarks on her continued journey in the sport, Hull’s recent win serves as a testament to her dedication and passion for golf, solidifying her status as one of the top players on the Ladies European Tour.
