French golfer David Ravetto secured his first DP World Tour victory with a stellar final round 64 at the D+D REAL Czech Masters. The 27-year-old finished with a total of 24 under par at PGA National OAKS Prague, leaving Sweden’s Jesper Svensson in second place at 19 under. Ravetto started strong with birdies on the first, third, and fourth holes, adding three more before the turn to build a three-shot lead.

Despite dropping a shot at the 12th hole, Ravetto managed to cancel it out with a birdie on the next hole, maintaining his lead over Svensson. The turning point came at the par-five 16th, where Svensson made a costly mistake with a double bogey, allowing Ravetto to extend his lead with another birdie. The Frenchman maintained his composure and wrapped up the tournament with a comfortable four-stroke victory, celebrating with his fellow countrymen on the 18th green.

In addition to Ravetto’s victory, two other French players, Frederic Lacroix and Adrien Saddier, finished in third place at the Czech Masters. Scotland’s Richie Ramsay followed in fourth place at 18 under par, with a group of players including Bernd Wiesberger and Alex Fitzpatrick tied for sixth. Meanwhile, Andrew Johnston, who was in contention heading into the final round, slipped to a tie for 23rd after a disappointing closing round.

Ravetto’s triumph marks a significant milestone in his career, particularly as he was ranked world no. 371 before the event. The Qualifying School graduate’s victory is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the sport. With this win, Ravetto has proven himself as a formidable competitor on the DP World Tour, and his future looks promising as he continues to hone his skills and compete at the highest level.

The French golfer’s performance at the Czech Masters showcased his ability to handle pressure and deliver under challenging circumstances. His final round display of skill and composure underlines his potential to become a consistent contender on the tour. Despite facing tough competition from experienced players, Ravetto emerged victorious with a combination of precise ball-striking and clutch putting throughout the tournament.

As Ravetto basks in the glory of his maiden DP World Tour title, he can take confidence from this achievement and build on it in future events. His breakthrough win at the Czech Masters is a stepping stone towards greater success in his career, and it has undoubtedly raised his profile in the world of professional golf. With the support of his fans and fellow players, Ravetto can look ahead to exciting opportunities and challenges on the tour, knowing that he has the talent and determination to succeed at the highest level.
