GOLFZON has launched an innovative indoor simulator golf league called TGL. This league features teams of PGA Tour players competing in prime-time matches. The league has generated a lot of interest from golf enthusiasts who wish they could participate themselves. GOLFZON is now offering an opportunity for regular players to experience the thrill of competitive indoor golf through their own tour.

The GOLFZON Tour consists of 12 teams representing cities, with players competing in a series of matches. The final contest will take place in Orlando in January, with the winning team receiving a prize of $150,000. This tour is based on Korea’s successful GTOUR model, which has seen players make a successful transition from screen golf to traditional outdoor tournaments. GOLFZON has a global presence with over 9,400 simulator locations worldwide, allowing matches to be held in convenient locations for all participants.

The tour is open to players 18 and older, both professional and non-professional. The inaugural season featured regional teams from 12 selected GOLFZON host facilities, with more participation opportunities expected in future seasons. The current regional host facilities are located in cities across the US, London, Toronto, and Mexico. Each team consists of five players, with three players competing in each match.

The format of the GOLFZON Tour involves seeding teams based on divisional round-robin play. Players compete in a match-play format, with the top two teams from each division advancing to a single-elimination bracket play tournament. Female competitors play at 85% of the yardage of their male counterparts. Matches are played head-to-head, with the scores of the two best players from each team counting on each hole.

Fans can follow the action of the GOLFZON Tour on GOLFZON’s YouTube page, where new episodes are released weekly. The tour is currently in the single-elimination rounds, with viewers being able to track the progress of their favorite teams. The final match, which will determine the winner of the $150,000 grand prize, is scheduled to take place in Orlando in front of a live audience at the PGA Show in January. Overall, this article highlights the exciting and competitive nature of the GOLFZON Tour and how players can participate in this unique indoor golf experience.
