PGA champion Jason Day and PAYNTR Golf have partnered to launch a new shoe collection called the PAYNTR Golf Eighty-Seven Speed Classic (SC). This collaboration combines Day’s refined style with PAYNTR Golf’s advanced performance technology, resulting in a classic silo collection that will debut three additional models in Spring 2025. The Eighty-Seven SC is designed for both performance and comfort, with Day personally involved in the development process and wear-testing the shoes during the 2024 Masters tournament.

The Eighty-Seven SC features innovative technology, such as the Full-Length Carbitex Directional Carbon Fiber Propulsion Plate, which boosts ground reaction forces for more power and speed in the downswing. The shoe also includes a waterproof and breathable Clarino Microfiber Performance Upper and TOUR Flex Pro Cleats for comfort, stability, and performance on all course conditions. With 87 perforated holes in the design, the shoe pays homage to Day’s lucky number, 87.

Key features of the Eighty-Seven SC include a TPU Injected Stability Heel Clip, Ariaprene Tongue Booty Comfort Package, PMX NITRO+ Injected 3D Molded Footbed, and Lightweight Injected Performance TPU Outsole. The shoe is designed to provide golfers with unmatched comfort and performance, reflecting Day’s personal style and commitment to excellence. Day’s equity ownership in PAYNTR Golf further demonstrates his dedication to the brand and its mission.

Based in North America, PAYNTR Golf is known for its cutting-edge technology and innovative approach to footwear. The collaboration with Jason Day marks a significant moment for the brand, as the Eighty-Seven SC sets a new standard for golf footwear. Co-Founder and President of PAYNTR Golf, Mike Forsey, expressed excitement about the collection, highlighting Day’s expertise and passion for the game evident in every aspect of the Eighty-Seven SC.

The PAYNTR Golf Eighty-Seven SC will be available at select retailers and online starting on October 1, 2024. Golfers can expect a product that combines top performance technology with a timeless aesthetic, thanks to Day’s hands-on approach to the design and development process. The partnership between Day and PAYNTR Golf represents a true collaboration that aims to raise the bar for golf footwear options on the market, offering golfers a game-changing shoe for their on-course performance.
