The 2024 Presidents Cup is set to take place at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Canada, and the event kicked off with a grand opening gala. Players and captains from both the United States and International teams arrived in their finest attire for the red carpet event at The Ring sculpture in Montreal. The Americans have a dominant record in the competition, leading the all-time standings at 12-1-1, while the Internationals are looking to secure their first win since 1998.

During the opening gala, the players and their wives and girlfriends posed for formal photos at The Ring, capturing the essence of the prestigious event. International Team players like Min Woo Lee, Corey Conners, Mackenzie Hughes, Taylor Pendrith, and Sungjae Im were seen in their best formal wear alongside their partners. The players also posed for a selfie taken by Ernie Els, the International Team Captain’s Assistant, adding a fun and casual touch to the elegant affair.

On the other hand, the U.S. Team players, including Scottie Scheffler, Brandt Snedeker, Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, and others, were also seen enjoying the gala with their wives and girlfriends. The couples posed for formal photos before the Presidents Cup Celebration, adding a touch of glamour and style to the event. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter and cheer among the players and their partners, creating a sense of camaraderie and friendship ahead of the intense competition.

The captains of both teams, Jim Furyk for the U.S. Team and Mike Weir for the International Team, were seen engaging with their assistant captains and partners at The Ring. Furyk and Weir, along with their wives, posed for formal photos, showcasing the leadership and unity within the teams. The event was a perfect opportunity for the players and captains to relax and enjoy each other’s company before the competition kicks off.

The gala also featured moments with players Kevin Kisner, Brian Harman, Brandt Snedeker, Scottie Scheffler, Sam Burns, Byeong Hun An, and Justin Leonard, among others, as they interacted with each other and their partners in a festive and celebratory atmosphere. The photos captured the essence of the event, highlighting the bond between the players and their loved ones, and setting the stage for an exciting and competitive Presidents Cup ahead.
