The 15th Presidents Cup is set to take place in Montreal this week, featuring 24 of the PGA Tour’s top players. The American team, captained by Jim Furyk, is the heavy favorite going into the tournament. The last Presidents Cup, held two years ago, saw the American squad emerge victorious with a 17.5-12.5 win over the International team. This year’s event will span from Thursday to Sunday, with both teams vying for the prestigious title.

The United States team roster includes players like Keegan Bradley, Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, and many more. Furyk, a 17-time PGA Tour winner, will lead the team after a previous Ryder Cup captaincy. Players like Brian Harman, Russell Henley, and Max Homa bring their own strengths and experiences to the team, hoping to secure another win for the U.S. squad. Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele are expected to be key players, given their exceptional performances in the past.

The International team, captained by Mike Weir, includes talented players like Byeong Hun An, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, and Mackenzie Hughes. Jason Day, Sungjae Im, and Hideki Matsuyama bring their wealth of experience and skill to the team, hoping to challenge the dominance of the U.S. squad. Players from countries like South Korea, Canada, and Australia make up the diverse International team, adding to the competitive spirit of the tournament.
