Golfing in the Italian Alpine region may seem like an unusual choice, but the Aoste Valley region offers a unique and rewarding golfing experience during the summer months. Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Golf Club Arsanières offers a picturesque 9-hole course with stunning views of the Matterhorn. The fast and well-maintained greens, along with small water features, provide a suitable challenge for golfers of all levels. The breathtaking beauty of the surroundings makes each round a memorable experience, with opportunities to capture the stunning views on camera.

After enjoying a round at Golf Club Arsanières, our journey continued to Cervinia Golf Club, known for its unique 18-hole course created by Donald Harradine. At an altitude of 6,500 ft above sea level, it is one of the highest courses in Europe, offering players spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Players can ride electric mountain bikes equipped with golf clubs, adding a unique twist to the golfing experience. The course’s natural contour and challenging layout make it a must-visit for golf enthusiasts looking for a memorable round of golf.

Our adventure also included a visit to Golf Club Courmayeur, set against the backdrop of the majestic Mont Blanc. With well-maintained fairways and challenging holes, the course offers a rewarding golfing experience for players of all levels. The course’s rich history and quality design by Henry Cotton showcase the club’s dedication to providing a top-notch golfing experience. The lush fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and stunning views of Mont Blanc create an exhilarating atmosphere for golfers looking for a unique and challenging round.

In addition to the exceptional golfing experiences, our journey included culinary delights and breathtaking scenery, making it an unforgettable experience for any golf lover. From enjoying traditional Italian pasta and local wine at charming restaurants to exploring the stunning views of the Alps from the Skyway Cable car, each day offered a perfect blend of golfing and leisure activities. The diverse landscapes and unique challenges provided by each golf course showcased the best of Northern Italy’s golfing landscape, making it a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts looking for a memorable golfing experience in the Alps.

Overall, playing golf in the Italian Alpine region is a unique and rewarding experience that combines stunning views, challenging courses, and delicious culinary delights. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer looking for a new challenge or a beginner eager to explore the beauty of the Alps, the Aoste Valley region offers a perfect blend of golfing and leisure activities.
