Jeeno Thitikul currently holds a two-shot lead after 54 holes of the LPGA’s 2024 Kroger Queen City Championship. However, her closest competitor is none other than Lydia Ko, the newest member of the league’s Hall of Fame. Ko, who recently won the AIG Women’s British Open, shot a third-round 3-under 69 at TPC River’s Bend in Maineville, Ohio, putting her just two strokes behind Thitikul’s lead.

Despite starting her day with a bogey, Ko managed to turn things around and make the turn at even-par. She then went on to add birdies on the back nine, securing her spot in Sunday’s final group. Thitikul, on the other hand, outperformed Ko on Day 3 with a 4-under 68 that included six birdies but was slightly marred by back-to-back bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes.

Yan Liu is currently sitting in third place at 13 under, three strokes behind the leader, while Albane Valenzuela and Haeran Ryu are tied for fourth at 12 under, trailing by four shots. The final round of the tournament will be broadcasted on Golf Channel from 1-4 p.m. ET, allowing viewers to witness the thrilling conclusion of the Kroger Queen City Championship.

Thitikul’s strong performance in recent tournaments, including a tie for 17th at the Women’s Open and a fourth-place finish at the FM Championship in Boston, showcases her skill and consistency on the LPGA tour. Meanwhile, Ko’s success at the AIG Women’s British Open demonstrates her unwavering determination and talent, making her a formidable opponent in the final round of the Kroger Queen City Championship.

As the leaderboard tightens and the pressure mounts, spectators can expect a thrilling conclusion to the tournament as Thitikul and Ko battle it out for the coveted title. With players like Liu, Valenzuela, and Ryu also in contention, the final round promises to be a nail-biting affair with plenty of excitement and drama for fans to enjoy.

With the tournament reaching its climax, all eyes in the golfing world will be on the Kroger Queen City Championship as the top players in the LPGA vie for supremacy. The fierce competition, combined with the picturesque backdrop of TPC River’s Bend, sets the stage for a memorable and unforgettable final round that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the players and fans alike.

For Thitikul, a victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship would be a significant milestone in her burgeoning career on the LPGA tour, solidifying her status as one of the rising stars in women’s golf. Similarly, a win for Ko would further cement her legacy as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, adding another prestigious title to her impressive list of achievements.

In conclusion, as the final round of the Kroger Queen City Championship approaches, the stage is set for a thrilling showdown between Jeeno Thitikul, Lydia Ko, and the rest of the top contenders. With the leaderboard tightly packed and the stakes higher than ever, fans can look forward to an exhilarating finish to the tournament that will undoubtedly captivate audiences and showcase the immense talent and competitiveness of the LPGA’s top players.
