Jiwon Jeon recently made her third ace of the season at the 2024 The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club, helping her to secure a share of first place with Charley Hull after shooting a round of 6-under 64. While her previous two aces went unseen, this time Jeon was able to watch her ball drop into the hole on the par-3 third hole at Pelican. Using a 5-hybrid club, this ace marked Jeon’s third of the season, making her just the fourth player in history to achieve this feat. In addition to her impressive performance on the course, Jeon’s achievement also resulted in a $20,000 donation to St. Jude Children’s Research from CME Group.

Jeon’s success on the course didn’t come without hard work and dedication. Currently ranked 98th on the CME points list, she is focused on maintaining her position within the top 100 to secure her card for next year. By giving her all in practice and focusing on each shot, Jeon is determined to continue performing well and achieving her goals. With the pressure of maintaining her card for the following season, Jeon’s dedication to her game is evident in her commitment to excellence.

As the first player since 2014 to make three aces in a single season, Jeon’s accomplishment highlights her skill and precision on the course. With her most recent ace at Pelican following earlier aces at the Buick LPGA Shanghai and in Portland, Jeon has proven her ability to consistently deliver exceptional shots when it counts. Her success in making three aces in one season is a testament to her talent and dedication to her craft as a professional golfer.

Jeon’s journey in golf has been marked by significant milestones, including making her first hole-in-one two years ago during a non-competition round. This experience, combined with her recent success, illustrates Jeon’s growth and development as a player. By continuing to hone her skills and push herself to new heights, Jeon is setting a strong example for aspiring golfers looking to achieve success on the professional circuit. With her sights set on maintaining her card and continuing to improve, Jeon is poised for a bright future in the world of golf.

In addition to her individual success, Jeon’s performance at the 2024 The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican has also contributed to charitable donations for St. Jude Children’s Research. With $580,000 already donated to the organization this year, Jeon’s fine play has added $60,000 to this total. By using her skills on the golf course to benefit important causes, Jeon is not only achieving success in her sport but also making a positive impact off the course. Her dedication to giving back and using her platform for good sets her apart as a role model in the golfing community.

Overall, Jiwon Jeon’s recent ace and impressive performance at the 2024 The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican showcase her talent, dedication, and commitment to excellence in the world of professional golf. With a focus on maintaining her position within the top 100 on the CME points list and continuing to improve her game, Jeon is on track for a successful career in the sport. By achieving three aces in a single season and making a significant charitable contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research, Jeon has demonstrated not only her skill on the course but also her generosity and commitment to giving back. With her eyes set on future success and continued growth as a player, Jeon is a rising star in the world of golf.
