In a thrilling victory at the BMW Championship, Keegan Bradley secured his seventh PGA Tour title and solidified his place as a potential player in the upcoming 2025 US Ryder Cup team in New York. At the age of 38, Bradley showcased his skill and talent as he maintained his composure under pressure to outlast his competitors and clinch the title at Castle Pines near Denver. Despite facing stiff competition from top players like Adam Scott, Bradley managed to maintain his lead and come out on top with a level-par 72 to finish 12 under for the week, one shot ahead of Scott, Sam Burns, and Ludvig Aberg.

As the 50th and final qualifier for the BMW Championship, Bradley’s victory has catapulted him to fourth place in the FedEx Cup standings, setting him up nicely for a shot at the FedEx Cup title and the $25 million first prize at the season-ending Tour Championship. His unexpected rise in the rankings has left him thrilled and optimistic about his chances in Atlanta, where he will be competing against the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings.

With a strong performance at the BMW Championship, Ludvig Aberg finished second, just two shots behind Bradley. Meanwhile, Sam Burns made an impressive comeback in the final round with a seven-under 65 to secure a share of second place. The exciting finish at Castle Pines saw Tommy Fleetwood climbing the leaderboard with a three-under 69 to secure a spot in the upcoming Tour Championship.

Heading into the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club, Scottie Scheffler will start with a two-shot lead over Xander Schauffele in the staggered scoring format based on the top 30 standings in the FedEx Cup. As the season finale of the PGA Tour, the Tour Championship promises to deliver high-stakes drama as players compete for the coveted FedEx Cup title and the substantial prize money on offer.

Rory McIlroy, a previous FedEx Cup champion, will begin his campaign at four under alongside other top contenders like Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay. With players starting at varying scores depending on their standings, the Tour Championship sets the stage for an intense battle to determine the ultimate champion of the FedEx Cup.

Shane Lowry, Bob MacIntyre, and Viktor Hovland are among the players starting at three under, while Aaron Rai trails at level par. The staggered scoring system ensures that each player has a chance to make a comeback and secure victory at the Tour Championship, adding an element of suspense and excitement to the final event of the PGA Tour season.

With the top players in the FedEx Cup standings vying for position and prize money, the Tour Championship promises to showcase the best golfing talent in a thrilling conclusion to the season. As Keegan Bradley and his competitors gear up for the challenge ahead, golf fans can look forward to an exciting display of skill, strategy, and determination on the course at East Lake Golf Club.
