TaylorMade Golf is unveiling a new finish and new long configurations for their popular Spider Tour putters. With big names like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler using the mallets, the Spider Tour line has become one of TaylorMade’s most popular putters. Following the success of their relaunch last year and Scheffler’s nine wins with the Spider Tour X in 2024, TaylorMade is now introducing a new black PVD finish to the Spider Tour Black putters. This color scheme was previously used by Jason Day to win the 2015 PGA Championship.
In addition to the new finish, TaylorMade has updated the Spider Tour models to include the True Path alignment system, providing visual contrast to help golfers align themselves properly. They have also introduced new counterbalanced and long options to cater to players who prefer longer-than-standard putter builds. The Spider Tour Black will be offered with a double-bend neck as a 35-inch counterbalanced option, with the Spider Tour S featuring a larger head for more stability and MOI. The Spider Tour S will be available in both a 38-inch counterbalanced version and a center-shafted 46-inch long putter.
The new Spider Tour Black putters will maintain much of the tech from previous versions, including the True Path alignment system, TaylorMade’s white TPU Pure Roll insert, HYBAR Echo dampener, and TSS weight ports to adjust swing weight for different lengths. The Spider Tour Black putters are priced at $349 and the Spider Tour X will be available in L-neck and small slant configurations, with the Spider Tour coming in both small slant neck and double bend counterbalanced options. The larger Spider Tour S will be offered in a double bend counterbalanced build with a 38-inch shaft, as well as a center shafted long configuration at 46 inches and a 79-degree lie angle.
Overall, the new Spider Tour Black putters from TaylorMade Golf are sure to appeal to players looking for a high-performing putter with modern updates and new configurations. With its popular features like the True Path alignment system and the addition of new long options, the Spider Tour line continues to provide golfers with cutting-edge technology and performance. Whether you’re a professional player or a casual golfer, the Spider Tour putters are worth considering for your next round on the greens.
