Golf Pride has teamed up with NBA superstar Stephen Curry to release a limited-edition grip collection that supports Curry’s Underrated Golf initiative. Underrated Golf aims to provide opportunities for student-athletes and underrepresented golfers to compete on prestigious golf courses and further develop their skills. The initiative has hosted 10 tournaments across the U.S. over the past two seasons.

The limited-edition kit includes 14 Stephen Curry designed MCC Plus4 grips, a unique ball marker, and a collector’s display. Each kit is individually numbered out of 8,200, in homage to the 82-game NBA season. The grips come in standard and midsize options, featuring Curry’s “SC” logo on the upper hand and the Underrated three-star logo on the front to represent the brand’s mission. The kits are available for purchase at $250 per kit on Golf Pride’s website, with proceeds supporting Underrated Golf.

Golf Pride’s president, James Ledford, expressed excitement about collaborating with Stephen Curry on this project. Ledford emphasized Curry’s potential to impact the game of golf for generations to come through Underrated Golf. This partnership marks Golf Pride’s first collaboration with a global icon like Curry, highlighting the company’s commitment to investing in initiatives that promote diversity and accessibility in golf.

Curry’s involvement in the design process of the grips adds a personal touch to the collection, with his input shaping the texture and visual elements of the grips. The collaboration aims to raise awareness for Underrated Golf’s mission of providing equity, access, and opportunities for student athletes interested in golf. By purchasing the limited-edition grip kits, golf enthusiasts can contribute to supporting underserved communities in the sport.

The Stephen Curry designed grips are a unique addition to Golf Pride’s lineup, combining the reliability and quality the brand is known for with Curry’s influence and design aesthetic. The grips feature a custom design that reflects Curry’s brand and mission, making them a standout accessory for golfers looking to support a meaningful cause. With only 8,200 kits available, golfers are encouraged to secure their limited-edition grips while supplies last.

Overall, Golf Pride’s collaboration with Stephen Curry for the Underrated Golf initiative highlights the importance of diversity and inclusion in the sport of golf. By creating a limited-edition grip collection that supports underserved communities in golf, Golf Pride and Curry are working towards a more accessible and equitable future for student-athletes interested in the game. The unique design and charitable aspect of the grips make them a must-have for golfers looking to make a positive impact through their passion for the sport.
