Social-medias influencer and golfer Paige Spiranac has revealed her childhood friendship with Wyndham Clark ahead of this week’s PGA Championship.
Spiranac is also a longtime golfer, who spoke about her upbringing on the latest season of Netflix‘s ‘Full Swing’.
She interviewed Clark during the series and spoke on their time growing up, chasing their golf dreams, with both now famous faces on the links.
‘So I remember Wyndham when he was this tall,’ Spiranac said, referencing a child’s height. ‘Full of braces. Most people don’t know this, we’re both from Colorado. We grew up playing junior golf together, and now we’re here.’
‘He was always going to be one of the best. Now he has to deal with all the pressure of people looking at him and having to compete week in, week out and being one of the top guys.’
Spiranac has rarely spoken about her lifelong friendship with Clark. She did give a small glimpse into that world once before, after the 31-year-old pro won the 2023 US Open at the Los Angeles Country Club.

‘Wyndham Clark and I grew up playing junior golf together in Colorado,” Spiranac wrote on social media at the time. ‘Everyone would always say he had something special and we all knew he’d make it. Now he’s a major winner! Very cool moment.’
Clark’s victory held off the chase for another major victory for Rory McIlroy, eight years into that quest, and two years before last month’s Masters triumph.
Clark will be in the field at Quail Hollow, having won only a single PGA Tour event since his major victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last February.
Spiranac’s friend only has one top-five finish on the PGA Tour this season, with the Houston Open in March.
Clark’s best finish at a major tournament, outside of his victory, is a tie for 46th at this year’s Masters.
