The 2025 PGA Tour regular-season schedule was recently released, featuring 36 events plus three playoff events. The season will kick off in Hawaii and conclude in Atlanta, similar to the previous year. Commissioner Jay Monahan expressed that the changes introduced in 2024 were a step towards creating the best version of the PGA Tour for fans and players, with stronger fields and more opportunities for fans to see top players compete head-to-head.

The 2025 schedule is fully sponsored, with Truist serving as a first-time sponsor of the Truist Championship in Philadelphia, replacing Wells Fargo. The U.S. Open will be held at Oakmont Country Club in Pittsburgh, while the British Open will take place at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. The Memorial and RBC Canadian Open have swapped dates, with the Canadian Open also having a new venue at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course). In total, there will be 10 TPC courses hosting Tour events in 2025.

The regular-season events include tournaments at prestigious courses such as the Plantation Course at Kapalua, Torrey Pines Golf Course, TPC Scottsdale, and Augusta National Golf Club. The Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, and Memorial Tournament are some of the signature events on the schedule. Additionally, the Truist Championship in Philadelphia and the Canadian Open at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley will provide fans with exciting golf action.

The FedExCup playoffs will consist of three events, starting with the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The playoff events offer players the opportunity to compete for the prestigious title and a chance to earn substantial prize money. The tournaments will be broadcast on NBC, USA Network, Peacock, and SXM, allowing fans to watch the action from anywhere.

Overall, the 2025 PGA Tour schedule promises to be an exciting and competitive season for both players and fans. The lineup of events at top-tier courses and the strong sponsor support indicate a successful year ahead for professional golf. With the FedEx Cup playoffs on the horizon, the stage is set for the world’s best golfers to showcase their skills and compete for the ultimate prize in the sport.

As the PGA Tour continues to evolve and adapt to the changing landscape of professional golf, the 2025 schedule reflects a commitment to excellence and providing fans with thrilling competition. The addition of new sponsors and venues adds to the excitement of the upcoming season, while the familiar traditions of the FedEx Cup playoffs remain a highlight for players and fans alike.

With a mix of signature events, regular-season tournaments, and playoff competitions, the 2025 PGA Tour schedule offers something for every golf enthusiast. From classic venues like Augusta National and Pebble Beach to new locations like TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, the range of courses ensures a diverse and engaging experience for players and spectators.

The anticipation is high for the start of the 2025 PGA Tour season, with players eager to compete for victories and fans ready to witness the action unfold. The combination of competitive events, top-tier courses, and broadcast coverage on NBC, USA Network, Peacock, and SXM will make this season one to remember. Stay tuned for updates and highlights as the journey toward the FedEx Cup playoffs begins.
