For those looking to add some excitement and friendly competition to their golf games, “Vegas” is a betting game that ensures every player is actively involved and contributing. This game eliminates the frustration of players who are irrelevant to the outcome and prevents anyone from coasting through the round without effort. Each shot counts in Vegas, making it a high-stakes game that can quickly add up in terms of money depending on the agreed-upon stakes.

Vegas is best suited for a group of four players, although it can be played with three. It is not for the faint of heart, as it can get expensive, especially for big blow-ups holes and costly mistakes. Players with a handicap of 15 or lower will likely find Vegas more enjoyable, as birdies are crucial to winning. It is important that all players are relatively similar in terms of skill level to ensure a fair and competitive game.

The gameplay of Vegas is relatively straightforward. Players establish a batting order before the round, which rotates every two holes. The handicap is based on the lowest handicap in the group, and stakes are set in advance based on point value. After teeing off, players form teams based on the two balls furthest left and right, with each team’s low and high scores determining the points for that hole. Natural birdies “flip the bird,” doubling the points for that hole.

After 16 holes, points are tallied, and the low man determines the batting order and whether to increase the points for the final two holes. Junk can also be played, awarding points for greenies, birdies, sandies, and the long-drive contest on par 5s. The final totals determine the payouts, with players exchanging points for money based on the agreed-upon stakes.

Various variations of Vegas exist, such as playing with three players or trying the Newtown variation, which changes how teams are formed based on tee shots. These variations add complexity and variety to the game, making it adaptable to different group sizes and preferences. Overall, Vegas provides an exciting and engaging way to elevate your golf outings with friends and add an element of competition to each round.

If you’re interested in exploring new and exotic golf games, don’t hesitate to connect with golf enthusiasts and experts on social media platforms like Twitter. Sharing and learning about different betting games like Vegas can enhance your overall golfing experience and keep things interesting and enjoyable for all players involved. So, gather your friends, hit the course, and try your hand at Vegas for a thrilling golfing adventure full of camaraderie and competition.
