The PGA Tour is back in action at the 3M Open taking place at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota just days after Xander Schauffele’s victory at the Open Championship. The field includes top players such as Tony Finau, Sam Burns, Sahith Theegala, Akshay Bhatia, Keegan Bradley, and amateur Luke Clanton. With only one regular season event left before the playoffs, players are looking to earn valuable FedEx Cup points to secure their spots.

The winner of the 3M Open will earn 500 FedEx Cup points and a share of the $8.1 million purse. The TPC Twin Cities course, with a par of 71 and 7,431 yards, has a history of unpredictability among players. Betting odds for the event have Tony Finau as the favorite at +1100, followed by Sam Burns at +1800 and Sahith Theegala at +2000.

Akshay Bhatia, after a strong performance at recent events, is poised to make an impact in his 3M Open debut. Luke Clanton, an amateur with a proven track record of success on the PGA Tour, could surprise with a strong finish. Maverick McNealy, seeking his first tour win, has consistently finished in the top-10 this season and could be a contender at TPC Twin Cities.

Adam Hadwin, who has previously performed well at this course, has the potential to make a strong run with his history of top finishes at similar venues. Max Greyserman, a newcomer to the 3M Open, has been playing consistently well over the past month and a half and ranks high in driving distance this season. Both Hadwin and Greyserman could be dark horses to watch for in this event.

With the pressure on for players to secure their spots in the upcoming playoffs, the 3M Open promises to be an exciting and competitive event. The field may be missing some of the top names, but there are plenty of rising stars and established players ready to make their mark at TPC Twin Cities. As the tournament unfolds, fans can expect a mix of veterans and newcomers vying for victory and valuable FedEx Cup points.
