The Betfred British Masters, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, marks the start of the Back 9 phase of the DP World Tour season, featuring higher purses and more Race to Dubai points. The 2023 tournament had a $3.5 million purse, with the winner receiving $595,000 and the runner-up $385,000. There are 5,000 Race to Dubai points available at the event, up from 3,000 in previous regular events. A $200,000 bonus is also on offer for the player who finishes top of the separate table at the end of the Back 9 phase.

Other notable participants are Dane Rasmus Hojgaard, 2022 champion Thorbjorn Olesen, and recent Danish Golf Championship winner Frederic LaCroix.

Players at the Betfred British Masters are competing for a total purse of $3.5 million, with the winner taking home $595,000 and the runner-up earning $385,000.
