Prize Money Payout for the 2024 Betfred British Masters

The Betfred British Masters, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, marks the start of the Back 9 phase of the DP World Tour season, featuring higher purses and more Race to Dubai points. The 2023 tournament had a $3.5 million purse, with the winner receiving $595,000 and the runner-up $385,000. There are 5,000 Race to Dubai points available at the event, up from 3,000 in previous regular events. A $200,000 bonus is also on offer for the player who finishes top of the separate table at the end of the Back 9 phase.

For non-DP World Tour members in the top 70 on the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup points standings, the Back 9 events offer playing opportunities. Others to watch are Team Europe captain Luke Donald, 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett, and Italian star Matteo Manassero. The event is being held at The Belfry in Warwickshire, England, for the fourth consecutive year.

Last year’s winner, David Hillier, is looking to defend his title at the Betfred British Masters. Additional high-profile English players in the field include Daniel Brown, Robert Rock, and amateur Kris Kim, who made history as the youngest player to make the cut at a PGA Tour event. Other notable participants are Dane Rasmus Hojgaard, 2022 champion Thorbjorn Olesen, and recent Danish Golf Championship winner Frederic LaCroix.

Players at the Betfred British Masters are competing for a total purse of $3.5 million, with the winner taking home $595,000 and the runner-up earning $385,000.
