The FedEx Cup Fall season is halfway through, and golfers are racing against time to secure their PGA Tour cards for 2025. At the Shriners Children’s Open, J.T. Poston clinched his third PGA Tour victory, edging out Doug Ghim by one stroke. After finishing in the top 50 of the FedEx Cup standings in the regular season, Poston was already safe for next year. However, Michael Kim’s impressive 62 on Sunday moved him into the top 125 standings with four fall events remaining. Joe Highsmith also made a significant jump from No. 133 to the bubble boy position at No. 125.

Unfortunately, Kevin Tway slipped four spots to No. 126, and Joel Dahmen slid five spots to No. 129, falling out of the top 125. Those who finish in positions 51-60 in the FedEx Cup standings will earn entry into the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis Invitational, the first two signature events of 2025. Those inside the top 125 will secure their PGA Tour cards for the following year.

After the Shriners Children’s Open, the Aon Next 10 standings and FedEx Cup top 125 standings were updated. The Aon Next 10 featured McKenzie Hughes in the 51st spot, with Harris English, Seamus Power, Maverick McNealy, and others following closely behind. In the FedEx Cup top 125 standings, Henrik Norlander, Hayden Springer, and S.H. Kim were holding on to positions 121-123, while Matt Wallace dropped to No. 124. Joe Highsmith’s impressive performance saw him move up to No. 125, while Kevin Tway and Joel Dahmen fell out of the top 125.

As the FedEx Cup Fall season progresses, the competition for securing PGA Tour cards for 2025 heats up. Golfers are giving their all to maintain their positions in the top 125 standings to secure their spots for the following year’s tour. Every stroke and every round counts as players battle it out in the remaining fall events to ensure they can continue their professional golfing careers on the PGA Tour.

The Shriners Children’s Open was a pivotal tournament for many players, with J.T. Poston’s victory solidifying his position in the top 50 of the FedEx Cup standings. Michael Kim’s outstanding performance on Sunday propelled him into the top 125, securing his place for the next season. With only a few events left in the fall season, every player is feeling the pressure to perform at their best and secure their PGA Tour cards.

The updated Aon Next 10 standings and FedEx Cup top 125 standings paint a picture of the intense competition among golfers vying for spots in the upcoming season. McKenzie Hughes, Harris English, Seamus Power, and others are poised on the edge of the top 50, while Henrik Norlander, Hayden Springer, and S.H. Kim are clinging to positions in the top 125. The shifting standings highlight the volatility of professional golf and the need for consistency and excellence on the course.

As the FedEx Cup Fall season reaches its climax, the pressure on golfers is mounting. Every shot, every hole, and every tournament result can make the difference between securing a PGA Tour card for 2025 or facing uncertainty about their professional future. The remaining fall events will be crucial for players like Kevin Tway and Joel Dahmen, who have slipped outside the top 125 and now have to fight their way back in to continue their careers on the PGA Tour. The stakes are high, and the competition is fierce as the race for PGA Tour cards intensifies.
