The TaylorMade Qi35 Max driver is the latest flagship product in the TaylorMade range, following the success of the Qi10 Max driver from the previous season. The new Qi35 Max driver aims to address any issues that users may have had with its predecessor, with a focus on improving CG projection technology. By shifting the CG lower and further back in the head, the Qi35 Max driver allows for higher launches and lower spins, resulting in more optimal ball flights. The club head features a massive 34g weight at the rear, a multi-material construction, and a fourth-generation carbon twist face.

One of the standout features of the Qi35 range is its sleek and modern design. The light grey carbon finish creates a cohesive look between the crown and sole, making it visually appealing. The branding is subtle and minimal, with a premium feel that sets it apart from other drivers on the market. The clean infinity crown and rounded head profile provide a confident look at address, while the white strip across the top line aids in alignment. Overall, the Qi35 Max driver has a premium and sophisticated appearance that stands out on the course.

In terms of performance, the Qi35 Max driver delivers impressive results. The CG projection technology has significantly reduced spin compared to the Qi10 Max, resulting in longer and straighter shots. The driver offers stability and forgiveness, making it suitable for a wide range of players. The feel and sound of the club have also been enhanced, with a slightly livelier acoustic and firmer feel that is preferred by many golfers.

The Qi35 Max driver has been tested in various scenarios and has consistently delivered exceptional performance. The issues with club head speed and spin that were present in the Qi10 Max have been addressed, making the Qi35 Max a more versatile and effective driver. The lower CG projection has led to a significant reduction in spin, while maintaining a high launch angle for slower speed players. The driver offers excellent dispersion and stability, making it easier to hit straight shots consistently.

Overall, the TaylorMade Qi35 Max driver is a significant improvement over its predecessor, with fine-tuned features that enhance performance and aesthetics. The driver is priced at £529/$599 and comes with stock shaft offerings of either the Fujikura AirSpeeder or the Mitsubishi Diamana T+. With its premium design and top-notch performance, the Qi35 Max driver is poised to be a standout product in the world of golf equipment. Whether you are a high-speed player looking for distance or a slower speed player seeking consistency, the Qi35 Max driver offers the best of both worlds.
