The PGA Tour boasts an illustrious list of golfers who have reached 25 wins or more throughout their careers. Topping this list are Sam Snead and Tiger Woods, both with 82 wins. Snead was the first to reach this milestone, while Woods achieved his 82nd win at the Zozo Championship. Other golfers who have achieved the 25-win milestone include Rory McIlroy, Johnny Miller, Tommy Armour, and Macdonald Smith. McIlroy stands out from this group with the most majors, having won four so far.

Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus holds 73 wins on the PGA Tour with his final victory coming at the 1986 Masters, where he became the oldest winner at 46 years old. Ben Hogan, on the other hand, won 64 times, including his final victory at the 1959 Colonial National Invitation after an 18-hole playoff. Arnold Palmer, one of the five players to reach the 60-win mark, secured 62 victories during his career. Byron Nelson had a remarkable 11 consecutive wins in 1945, among his 52 total PGA Tour victories.

Billy Casper is among the seven golfers who reached the 50-win milestone throughout their careers. Walter Hagen is another notable name with 45 PGA Tour wins. Phil Mickelson, Cary Middlecoff, Tom Watson, Gene Sarazen, Lloyd Mangrum, Vijay Singh, Jimmy Demaret, Horton Smith, Lee Trevino, Harry Cooper, Leo Diegel, Henry Picard, Johnny Miller, and Tommy Armour are other golfers who have made significant marks on the PGA Tour with their number of wins.

Macdonald Smith is credited with 25 wins, but like Cooper, did not secure one of the four major championships during his career. Rory McIlroy recently joined the ranks of these legendary golfers with his 25th victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. This puts him in a unique position among golfers who have reached at least 25 wins on the PGA Tour. With the potential for McIlroy to achieve 30 wins, he could become the 18th golfer in history to reach that milestone.

As the list of 25+ winners on the PGA Tour continues to grow, golf enthusiasts can reminisce about the storied careers of these players who have left lasting legacies in the sport. Each golfer brings a unique story and set of accomplishments to the table, showcasing the depth and talent within the PGA Tour’s history. Whether it’s Sam Snead’s initial dominance or Rory McIlroy’s recent surge, these players have etched their names into golf history with stellar performances on the course. The 25-win milestone is a testament to their skill, dedication, and love for the game of golf.
