Tee times and pairings announced for women’s Olympic golf tournament

The women’s Olympic golf competition is set to take place at Le Golf National in Paris from August 7-10, with a 60-strong field playing in three-balls for the 72-hole event. Defending champion Nelly Korda will kick off her bid for a second gold medal at 9:55 am local time, alongside world no.3 Jin Young Ko (Korea) and world no.5 Ruoning Yin (China). Charley Hull will be teeing off at 9:44 am with Australia’s Hannah Green and Rose Zhang of Team USA, while Georgia Hall will start at 12:17 pm alongside Leona Maguire (Ireland) and Ashleigh Buhai (South Africa).

Charley Hull is aiming for a medal in Paris after finishing tied 7th in Rio in 2016 and not competing in Tokyo in 2021 due to Covid restrictions. The tee times for the first two rounds have been released, with all times listed being local for Paris, which is one hour ahead of the UK time zone. The competition will also feature players like Hyo Joo Kim (Korea), Brooke Henderson (Canada), Xiyu Janet Lin (China), Patty Tavatanakit (Thailand), Linn Grant (Sweden), and Carlota Ciganda (Spain) among others.
