Geno Bonnalie, known as the caddie for professional golfer Joel Dahmen, has an impressive, lesser-known achievement to his name – being featured in the Guinness World Records book. Bonnalie was a guest on the Subpar Podcast where he discussed his work with Netflix during “Full Swing”, life on the road, and his Guinness World Records. At one point, Bonnalie held three records for most holes of golf played in a week, most birdies made in a week, and most birdies made in 12 hours. Currently, he still holds the record for the most birdies made in a week with 493.

One of Bonnalie’s records was for making 67 birdies in 12 hours, which he later realized had a loophole that could be exploited by selecting shorter par-5 holes. Despite this, the other two records were achieved through significant effort and planning. Bonnalie had to have two independent scorekeepers at all times, ensuring the accuracy of his scores. Additionally, he had to submit hundreds of scorecards and summary sheets along with affidavits to back up his scores. The entire process was a massive undertaking for Bonnalie.

The journey to achieving these Guinness World Records was no easy feat for Bonnalie. It required dedication, meticulous planning, and a significant amount of hard work. With his records being a testament to his impressive golf skills, Bonnalie has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with in the golfing world. Despite facing challenges and loopholes along the way, Bonnalie’s determination and passion for the game ultimately led to his success in the record books.

As Bonnalie continues his career as a caddie and makes a name for himself alongside Joel Dahmen on the PGA Tour, his Guinness World Records serve as a reminder of his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. His achievements have garnered attention and admiration from fans and fellow golf enthusiasts, solidifying his status as a respected figure in the golfing community. With his impressive feat now immortalized in the Guinness World Records book, Bonnalie’s legacy in the world of golf is sure to endure for years to come.

In addition to his Guinness World Records, Bonnalie’s appearance on the Subpar Podcast shed light on his experiences working with Netflix and the challenges of life on the road as a caddie. Through his engaging and insightful interview, fans were able to gain a deeper understanding of the man behind Joel Dahmen’s success. Bonnalie’s story is one of perseverance, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in the face of adversity. As he continues to make his mark on the golfing world, Bonnalie’s legacy is sure to inspire future generations of golfers and fans alike.
