Prostate Cancer UK has partnered with Trackman to bring golfers around the UK an exciting indoor virtual golf challenge known as The Big Golf Race Winter Shoot-Out. This three-round, 9-hole tournament will take place on the front nine of iconic Major golfing venues such as St Andrews, Evian Resort, and Bethpage Black. The event kicks off on January 1st, 2025 and offers individual prizes for each round, as well as an overall Order of Merit champion who will win a Motocaddy M5 GPS electric trolley and Dry-Series bag.

The tournament is open to all golfers in the UK and can be accessed by visiting a Trackman indoor simulator nationwide. The Big Golf Race Winter Shoot-Out also aims to raise awareness about prostate cancer, the most common cancer in men in the UK. This will be highlighted by an in-game closest to the pin challenge on the 8th hole of each course, with the winner receiving a dozen Titleist Pro V1 golf balls monthly.

Seren Evans, Head of Events and Community Fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, expressed excitement about the partnership with Trackman and the opportunity to engage with more golfers during the winter months. The free-to-enter tournament will utilize Trackman’s VG3 software, known for its industry-leading graphics that enhance the indoor golf experience.

Trackman’s Regional Sales Director, Mike Lea, emphasized the importance of spreading Prostate Cancer UK’s message through technology and reaching golfers globally to raise awareness about the disease. The Big Golf Race encourages players to participate in a challenge ranging from 36 to 100 holes during the summer to raise funds for life-saving research.

The success of The Big Golf Race has been recognized by The Massive Top-25, showcasing the event as one of the most successful charity-owned mass participation events in the UK. Climbing to 17th place in the rankings, The Big Golf Race stands alongside other renowned charitable events like Race for Life and Movember.

To join The Big Golf Race Winter Shoot-Out and compete for the exciting prizes, golfers can download the Trackman Golf app and register before visiting any indoor location across the country. For more information and to find Trackman locators near you, visit the Trackman website. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying a fun and competitive virtual golf challenge.
