The U.S. Open winner will walk away with $4.3 million in prize money, equivalent to many rounds of golf at Pinehurst No. 2. Pinehurst Resort requires guests to stay for a minimum of two nights to play the course, and most bookings are package deals. It can be challenging to separate the green fee from the total price due to the various package options available. Different packages offer different privileges, and not all include a round at No. 2. Playing No. 2 comes with a $250 surcharge for certain packages, and additional rounds cost between $360 and $595 depending on the season.

The pricing and access to Pinehurst’s other courses vary. The Cradle currently has a greens fee of $50, increasing to $65 in the fall. Non-resort guests can play but must book within 24 hours, and juniors 17 and under are free with an adult. Nos. 1, 3, and 5 are open to resort and non-resort guests, with green fees ranging from $100 to $135. No. 4 is accessible to resort guests only, while Nos. 6, 7, 8, and 9 have greens fees bundled into stay-and-play packages for resort guests. No. 10, like No. 2, is not always included in packages and has a $125 surcharge for those cases.

Pinehurst Resort is known for its top-tier golf courses, including No. 2, which has hosted multiple major championships. The exclusivity of playing at Pinehurst adds to its allure, with various packages and pricing options available to guests. Whether you are a resort or non-resort guest, there are opportunities to experience the unique beauty and challenge of Pinehurst’s courses. From The Cradle to Nos. 1-10, each course offers a distinct golfing experience that caters to a range of skill levels and preferences.

The upcoming U.S. Open adds to the excitement surrounding Pinehurst, with the winner set to claim a significant prize purse. This prestigious event showcases the best golfers in the world competing on a renowned course like No. 2. As golf enthusiasts anticipate the championship, the spotlight on Pinehurst and its offerings continues to grow. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or looking to experience top-rated courses, Pinehurst Resort provides a memorable golfing experience for all. Consider booking a stay-and-play package to make the most of your visit and enjoy the opportunity to play on some of the finest courses in the country.
