Athletes, including those on the PGA Tour, are prioritizing their mental health more than ever before. Players like Wyndham Clark have credited mental health coaches for helping them reach their potential as world-class golfers. With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, the Tour and CJ Cup added a special touch for players during the recent tournament. Caddies at the 2024 CJ Cup Byron Nelson wore custom bibs selected by the players to showcase how they stay mentally strong and nurture their mental health.

One of the players, Jake Knapp, who was one shot off the lead heading into the final round, chose “Workout” to go on his caddie bib. Knapp expressed that working out is a space where he can go to relieve stress and work through challenges. Another player, Ben Kohles, simply chose “Enjoy Nature” for his bib, emphasizing the importance of spending time outdoors and away from screens to improve mental well-being.

The caddie bibs during the CJ Cup Byron Nelson tournament honored Mental Health Awareness Month. Players like Troy Merritt and Taiga Semikawa of Japan had their caddies wear bibs with mental health awareness month messages. This initiative showcased the importance of mental health in the world of professional golf and encouraged more open conversations on the topic.

In addition to mental health awareness initiatives, athletes are also focused on using the best equipment to enhance their performance on the course. The best drivers, irons, putters, and golf balls for the 2024 season are essential tools for players looking to achieve success in their game. By investing in high-quality equipment, athletes can optimize their performance and reach their full potential on the course.
