Shane Lowry surprised everyone with his impressive victory at the 2019 Open Championship at Royal Portrush. Despite coming off four missed cuts, the Irishman dominated the field by six strokes, leaving Tommy Fleetwood behind. This historic win marked the first Open Championship held in Northern Ireland in 68 years, solidifying Lowry’s place in golf history.

When it comes to Lowry’s equipment, he had a winning combination in his bag during the tournament. His driver was the Srixon Z 585 with a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 70 X shaft. For his 3-wood, Lowry used the TaylorMade M4 with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8 X shaft. His irons included a mix of Srixon ZU85, Z585, and Z785 clubs with specific shafts to match each iron.

Lowry relied on Cleveland RTX 4 wedges with KBS Tour Wedge X shafts to navigate his short game during the tournament. His putter of choice was the Odyssey Stroke Lab Exo 2-Ball with a custom SuperStroke Traxion Pistol GT 1.0 grip. Lowry also trusted the Srixon Z-Star XV golf ball and Golf Pride Tour Velvet 58R grips to round out his winning equipment setup.
