Vokey Design, the wedge division of Titleist, has had a busy year with the release of the SM10 wedge family and several limited-edition offerings from WedgeWorks, the tour-inspired custom division. The latest addition to the lineup is the K Grind wedge, developed after tour players requested modifications to the standard low-bounce K Grind wedge. The K Grind is available as a 58- and 60-degree lob wedge with a True Temper Dynamic Gold S200 shaft and Titleist Universal 360 grip.

Designed by Aaron Dill, Vokey’s PGA Tour rep, the K* Grind wedge is ideal for players who prefer a shallow attack angle and sweeping the ball off the turf from a square stance. The modified sole features extra pre-wear on the leading edge and more relief in the heel, toe, and trailing edge, providing enhanced performance in various conditions. Despite the removal of material in the heel and toe areas, skilled players can still slide the leading edge under the ball when opening the face, making it a versatile option for different shot types.

The K Grind wedge excels in greenside sand with its overall sole width acting as effective bounce, while the leading edge stays low for optimal performance. Players like Justin Thomas, Cameron Young, and Ludvig Aberg have been using the K wedge in their bags due to its versatility and performance benefits. Priced at $225, the WedgeWorks K* wedge comes in a raw-steel finish that will rust over time with exposure to air and moisture, adding a unique aesthetic to the club.

As an affiliate, Golfweek may earn a fee from recommended products and services, but this does not influence their independent coverage. The K Grind wedge offers golfers a high level of versatility and performance, making it a popular choice among professional players and amateurs alike. With its unique design features and exceptional playability, the K Grind wedge is a valuable addition to any golfer’s bag, providing enhanced performance in a variety of conditions. Get your hands on the K* Grind wedge today and experience the difference it can make in your game.
