The PGA Tour is back at the Memorial Tournament, held at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, serving as the final tune-up before the U.S. Open and offering a $20 million purse with $4 million going to the winner. The best players in the world, including defending champion Viktor Hovland, Patrick Cantlay, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele, are set to compete. The course measures 7,571 yards and is a par-72 track.

Rory McIlroy, a former world No. 1, has also had a solid record at the Memorial Tournament, with several top-20 finishes since 2019.

Shane Lowry, the 2019 British Open champion, has shown promise at the Memorial Tournament with a top-10 finish in 2021, making him a player to watch in the upcoming event. Max Homa, with consistent top finishes in 2021 and 2022 at the tournament, is also expected to perform well this year. Billy Horschel, the 2022 Memorial Tournament winner, presents himself as a strong contender with multiple past top-20 finishes at the event.

Denny McCarthy, with a second-place finish in 2023, is another player to watch at the Memorial Tournament, showing potential for a strong performance this year.
