Tour Pro Shatters 27-Year Major Record at US Senior Open

Golf enthusiasts know that keeping the ball in play is crucial for achieving a low score. Hiroyuki Fujita, the current leader of the 2024 US Senior Open, recently broke a record by hitting an impressive 32 consecutive fairways at Newport Country Club. Fujita’s impressive streak of hitting fairways started at the second hole of the US Senior Open and continued through several more holes before play was suspended due to inclement weather. Fujita is at 16-under and is aiming for one of the biggest wins of his successful career. With his experience and skills, he is a formidable competitor on the golf course. His most successful year was in 2012 when he won four tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour and finished as the leading money winner.
