True unveils new ‘Zero Drop’ OG Cush golf shoes

True Linkswear, founded in 2009, has always focused on creating comfortable, versatile shoes for golfers who prefer to walk the course. The brand’s latest offering, the OG Cush golf shoe, builds on the success of its original design by enhancing cushioning without sacrificing the barefoot feel that True Linkswear is known for. One key feature that sets the OG Cush apart from other golf shoes is its zero drop platform, which positions the heel and forefoot at the same height above the ground. This design promotes a more natural foot position, engages leg muscles, and enhances stability and balance.

Zero drop footwear is popular among athletes like rock climbers and weightlifters for its ability to provide a better connection with the ground and minimize forward lean. The OG Cush takes this concept and applies it to golf, offering golfers a more stable base for their swing. Despite its zero drop design, the OG Cush also features 6 millimeters of foam cushioning that adapts to the shape of each golfer’s foot over time. The wide EEE width forefoot allows for natural foot movement and spreading, adding to the overall comfort and fit of the shoe.

Constructed with a breathable and water-resistant mesh upper, the OG Cush is versatile enough to be worn on and off the course. The spikeless outsole features small T-shaped lugs for added traction without the need for traditional spikes. The flexible design of the shoe allows for natural movement and engagement of foot, ankle, and leg muscles during the swing, promoting a more connected and stable golf swing. Despite its golf-specific design elements, the OG Cush can easily transition to everyday wear for added value and convenience.

Available in five colorways and a wide range of sizes for both men and women, the OG Cush retails for $175. True Linkswear products are independently recommended, and any purchases made through affiliate links may earn a commission. Golfers looking for a comfortable, stable, and versatile shoe for walking the course may find the OG Cush to be a beneficial addition to their golf gear. By combining the benefits of zero drop design with enhanced cushioning and stability features, True Linkswear has created a unique golf shoe that caters to the needs of golfers who seek a more natural and connected playing experience.
