Watch Round 1 of the 2024 BMW Championship on Thursday on TV and streaming services

The 2024 BMW Championship is the second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs and will be taking place at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colo. Only the top 50 players after a full season and one playoff event have a tee time in Thursday’s opening round, where they will compete for a $20 million purse and a $4 million winner’s prize. The event will also determine who will walk away with the $25 million FedEx Cup bonus that will be awarded at the Tour Championship next week. The top 3 players in the FedEx Cup standings – Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Hideki Matsuyama – will be looking to maintain their positions, but there is always a chance for someone else to make a splash with a big win.

Viewers can catch all the action from the first round of the BMW Championship on TV via Golf Channel, with coverage starting at 3 p.m. ET. For exclusive streaming coverage, PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide coverage, including featured groups starting at 10:15 a.m. ET. Peacock will also offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s TV coverage. Golf fans who want to stream the event online can do so through Peacock and ESPN+. Peacock will begin airing a simulcast of Golf Channel’s TV coverage at 3 p.m. ET, while ESPN+ will provide early coverage and featured group coverage starting at 10:15 a.m. ET.

The Round 1 tee times for the 2024 BMW Championship have been announced, with players like Max Homa, Si Woo Kim, Cameron Young, and Thomas Detry teeing off early in the morning. Some of the later tee times include Rory McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa, and Tony Finau. With a star-studded lineup, fans can expect an exciting day of golf with some of the best players in the world competing for the top spot. The event marks the final opportunity for players to secure their spot in the Tour Championship, so every round counts.
