Team USA is gearing up to face off against the International Team in the 2024 Presidents Cup, with Jim Furyk leading the Americans and Mike Weir captaining the International side. The tournament will be held at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada, with three Canadian players on the International Team – Corey Conners, Mackenzie Hughes, and Taylor Pendrith. Team USA, on the other hand, boasts top players such as Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Collin Morikawa.

In the last edition of the Presidents Cup in 2022, Team USA emerged victorious at Quail Hollow with a score of 17½-12½, extending their all-time record lead to 12-1-1. The tournament is set to showcase top talent from both teams in a thrilling match-play competition. The Royal Montreal Golf Club will play host to the event, offering a challenge to both sides with its Par 71 course stretching over 7,319 yards.

The tournament will feature a mix of foursomes, fourball, and Sunday singles matches. Foursomes will see two-man teams from each side competing in alternate shot sessions on Thursday and Saturday morning. Fourball sessions will take place on Friday and Saturday afternoon, with each player playing their own ball until it is holed. Sunday will see all 12 players from each team competing in one-on-one singles matches to determine the winner of the Presidents Cup.

The Team USA roster includes players like Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay, and Tony Finau, while the International Team features stars like Hideki Matsuyama, Sungjae Im, and Adam Scott. The tournament format mirrors that of the Ryder Cup, with the main difference being the composition of the teams – the Ryder Cup features 12 European players, while the Presidents Cup includes players from all other countries on the International side.

Golf fans can catch all the action from the Presidents Cup on TV, with coverage scheduled on Golf Channel and NBC. The event will kick off on Thursday, September 26, with coverage starting at 11:30 a.m. ET on Golf Channel. The tournament will culminate on Sunday, September 29, with the final round airing from 12-6 p.m. ET on NBC. Don’t miss the exciting showdown between Team USA and the International Team in the 2024 Presidents Cup at Royal Montreal.
