This year marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the SeeMore Putter Company, coinciding with the historical moment when Payne Stewart made the longest putt ever to win the US Open on Pinehurst #2’s final hole, defeating Phil Mickelson. During Payne’s final round putting performance, he used a SeeMore original FGP putter and required only 24 putts. In the early 2000s, the company planned to produce a limited run of numbered commemorative putters as a tribute to Payne, who tragically passed away in a plane crash in 1999. They ultimately made fewer than 1000 of these putters and sold only a limited number at the time. Some remaining vintage putters have been donated to charity over the years as parts of silent auctions, while the final 300 have been stored in the SeeMore vault until now.

In honor of Payne Stewart’s legacy, SeeMore has decided to make the last 300 vintage, original commemorative putters available for purchase. These putters will be built to 35 inches with a black tour classic grip, matching the specifications of Payne’s exact gamer putter. Each putter will also come with a classic black SeeMore headcover. Buyers of the Payne Stewart 1999 US Open Champion engraved putter will also receive an engraved black and bronze scorecard. The price for this limited production offer is $400 on SeeMore.com, and the putters will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. A portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to the Payne Stewart Family Foundation.

Golf enthusiasts and collectors alike can now own a piece of history with the purchase of these limited edition commemorative putters. This exclusive offer provides fans with the opportunity to own a piece of equipment that pays tribute to one of the greatest moments in golf history. By purchasing one of these vintage putters, fans can support a meaningful cause while also celebrating the legacy of Payne Stewart. The combination of quality craftsmanship, historical significance, and charitable contributions make these putters a truly unique and valuable addition to any golf collection. Visit SeeMore.com now to secure your piece of golf history and honor the memory of Payne Stewart.
