The Black Desert Championship in Utah made its return as golfers took on the challenging course at Black Desert Resort. The tournament proved to be memorable, with standout performances and stunning landscape. In round one, Adam Svensson scored an impressive 60 and Ben Kohles hit the event’s first ace. The course, surrounded by black lava, presented a unique setting for the PGA Tour players.

Several players stood out for their exceptional performance in round one at Black Desert Championship. Four players managed to hit every fairway and every green in regulation, a rare feat noted by stats guru Justin Ray. Henrik Norlander, Mac Meissner, Nick Hardy, and Chris Kirk all achieved this remarkable accomplishment. Norlander finished the day in T2nd place at nine-under, with a flawless round of nine birdies and no bogeys.

Henrik Norlander’s standout performance included hitting every fairway and green in regulation, marking the second time he has achieved this feat on the PGA Tour. Only three players have multiple such rounds in the last 10 PGA Tour seasons, including Jim Furyk and Tyler Duncan. The other three players who accomplished this feat in round one all finished with a five-under 66.

Mac Meissner and Chris Kirk both recorded six birdies and a single bogey in their rounds, while Nick Hardy had a bogey-free 66. Adam Svensson of Canada led the field at 11-under, despite not hitting every fairway and green. The competition at Black Desert Championship showcased the talent and skill of the PGA Tour players, with impressive performances and close scores throughout the leaderboard.

As the tournament continues, fans can expect more exciting play and outstanding performances from the top golfers in the world. The Black Desert Resort provided a unique challenge for the players, with its stunning scenery and challenging course layout.
