Mitsubishi has recently introduced the newest addition to their Diamana Series, the Diamana BB shaft. This mid-launching shaft features the latest proprietary material and structural technologies, including Consistent Feel Design and Xlink Tech Resin System. The BB designation stands for “Blue Board,” indicating that it is a mid-launch, mid-spin profile that helps increase launch trajectory and maximize speed and distance for golfers.

To ensure a pure feel, Mitsubishi has incorporated their Xlink Tech Resin System to enhance the strength and durability of the shaft. The carbon fiber used in the shaft increases energy transfer and stability, with 80-ton Dialead pitch fiber in the handle and 46-ton throughout the angle plies. This technology improves the overall performance of the shaft and provides golfers with a smooth and responsive feel during their swings.

Mark Gunther, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Mitsubishi Chemical Sporting Goods Division, expressed excitement for the new Diamana BB shaft. He highlighted the performance characteristics and feel associated with the Diamana Blue Board franchise, stating that the new BB profile is a modern-day successor to the original mid-launch blue board profile from 2005. The retro cosmetic design of the shaft has garnered positive feedback from consumers and industry partners.

Golfers interested in trying out the Diamana BB shaft can pre-order it at select retailers starting in mid-July, with availability at authorized online retailers and club fitters beginning on September 6, 2024. The shaft will have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $400. The launch of the new Diamana BB shaft adds to the excitement surrounding the latest generation of Diamana shafts, offering golfers a high-performance option with a classic design and innovative technology.

Overall, the Diamana BB shaft is designed to meet the needs of golfers seeking a mid-launch, mid-spin profile that enhances launch trajectory, speed, and distance. The shaft’s advanced materials and technologies ensure a pure feel and improved performance on the course. With its iconic blue color coding and retro-inspired design, the Diamana BB shaft combines style and functionality for golfers of all levels. Mitsubishi’s commitment to innovation and quality shines through in the development of the Diamana BB shaft, providing golfers with a premium option for their game.
