Heading into Friday’s foursomes session, the team was ready to turn things around, and that’s exactly what they did on Day 2 at Royal Montreal Golf Club. The Internationals came back with massive victories in three matches, including a stunning 7-and-6 win for Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im over Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay. The team won all five matches overall, tying the biennial event through two days.

These victories and celebrations set the tone for an exciting weekend of competition.

Adam Scott of Australia and Taylor Pendrith of Canada also had a memorable moment on the 12th green during the Friday foursomes. Mackenzie Hughes of Canada and Corey Conners celebrated after winning their match with a decisive 6-and-5 victory against Wyndham Clark and Tony Finau of the U.S. Team. The energy and camaraderie among the International Team members were evident as they celebrated each successful putt and victory on the course.

Corey Conners of Canada was another standout player, with celebrations after key putts throughout the Foursomes on day two of the 2024 Presidents Cup.
