Limited Edition Scotty Cameron B3 Triple Black Design Putters

Scotty Cameron’s limited B3 lineup is a new addition to the iconic profiles that golfers have come to love. Master craftsman Scotty Cameron is known for constantly innovating while also embracing the past. The latest B3 Triple Black Design limited putters combine classic head shapes with modern twists, bringing nostalgia to golfers familiar with Cameron’s creations from the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Golfers will recognize the returning head shapes of Santa Fe, Catalina, and Newport 2 Long Neck in the B3 Triple Black Design putters. Cameron and senior director of putter R&D, Austie Rollinson, integrated subtle shaping from existing Super Select profiles to bring these classic shapes into the present. The Newport 2, a popular model, features a crisp, mechanical shape inspired by the Super Select Newport 2, while the Catalina and Newport 2 Long Neck also received modern updates.

The Triple Black name of these putters comes from the dark PVD treatment on the 303 stainless steel heads, designed to reduce glare on sunny days. Each putter is manually misted on the topline and hand buffed on the face and sole before application. The chrome shaft also comes in a Tour Black finish to complete the all-black look. Each face undergoes a dual-milling process inspired by Tour feedback, combining the softness of deep-milled putters with the consistency of mid-milled offerings.

The B3 Triple Black Design putters boast a 3.5-degree loft and a 70-degree lie angle, with adjustable heel-toe weights in the sole. The Catalina model utilizes stainless steel weights in various increments, while the other models feature heavier tungsten weights to match the putter lengths. Available for purchase on July 26, the B3 Triple Black putters retail for $750 and come standard with a black Pistolini Plus grip and custom-designed B3 headcover.

The B3 Triple Black Design LTD lineup includes four models: Newport 2, Newport 2 Long Neck, Santa Fe, and Catalina. The Newport 2 model is the flagship of the line, with a mechanical shape inspired by the Super Select Newport 2. The Newport 2 Long Neck features an I-beam style long neck for a straight-back-straight-through putting stroke. The Santa Fe model is based on Scotty’s early career, featuring an I-beam style flare 1.5 neck and softer, rounded features. The Catalina model, inspired by the Classic X, offers a wider shape and modern single bend shaft design.

For golfers looking to upgrade their equipment in 2024, the B3 Triple Black Design putters offer a blend of classic design with modern technology. These putters provide a tour-quality experience with adjustable weights and a tour-inspired dual-milling process. With a limited release and a price point of $750, the B3 Triple Black putters are sure to be a sought-after addition to any golfer’s bag.
