Trout National is a private destination golf club in Vineland, New Jersey, created in collaboration between Tiger Woods and baseball star Mike Trout. The course, designed by Woods’ golf architecture firm, TGR Design, is set on a former silica sand mining site and features a challenging par-72 layout spanning 7,455 yards. The course design promotes imaginative shot-making, with accessible greens and creative recovery options around them.

The property includes Trout-inspired amenities, such as the Dugout comfort station, designed to mimic MLB dugouts, and a full food-and-beverage hangout named Aaron’s honoring Mike’s late brother-in-law. These amenities provide golfers with a social and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy between holes. Trout National aims to offer a classic-contemporary balance, appealing to golfers with a love for pure golf in a modern and relaxed setting.

The club will feature additional facilities such as the Bullpen short course, a putting course, a short-game area, and a performance center equipped with advanced training tools. The clubhouse, designed as a stately manor, will offer luxurious amenities including a spa, wine cellar, barber shop, bowling alley, and fitness center. The club is set to open in April 2026, with member play expected to commence in 2025 for a select group of athletes, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and avid golfers.

Mike Trout, a golf enthusiast who can shoot in the 60s on a good day, has been actively involved in the development of Trout National, despite being sidelined by injuries. Trout recently joined Woods for a tour of the course, discussing details as construction progressed. The project aims to provide a unique golfing experience for members, combining a challenging course with upscale amenities and a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Trout National is ideally located near Philadelphia and Atlantic City, offering easy access for members and visitors. The club’s emphasis on quality golf, modern amenities, and a laid-back vibe sets it apart in the competitive golf club market. With its completion date approaching, Trout National is poised to become a premier golf destination for those seeking a top-tier playing experience and luxury amenities in a welcoming environment.
