GOLFZON Tour is a unique simulator-golf league where everyday players are competing for a $150,000 grand prize. The league features regional teams of five players each from 12 selected GOLFZON host facilities, with matches being played in a single-elimination bracket format. Female competitors play 85 percent of the yardage of their male counterparts, and teams compete head-to-head by linking their simulators together over the Internet in a match-play format.

In Match 1 of the GOLFZON Tour, Team Orlando faced off against Team Louisville at PGA West’s Stadium Course. Team Orlando started strong, winning four consecutive holes to take an early lead. However, Team Louisville managed to make a comeback, tying the match on the iconic island-green 17th hole. In the end, Team Orlando secured a 1-up victory on the 18th hole, advancing to the quarterfinal round where they will face Team Toronto.

Match 2 featured Team Minneapolis and Team Chicago at Harbour Town Golf Links. The match was a closely contested battle, with Team Minneapolis taking an early lead and maintaining a 2-up advantage at the turn. Despite Team Chicago’s efforts to mount a comeback, Team Minneapolis secured a 2 and 1 victory on the 17th hole, advancing to the quarterfinals where they will face Team Los Angeles.

The GOLFZON Tour has provided an exciting platform for simulator golf enthusiasts to compete at a high level and showcase their skills. With the regional teams vying for the ultimate prize, the competition has brought out the best in the players, resulting in thrilling matches and intense moments on the virtual course.

With the unique format of the GOLFZON Tour, each match presents a new challenge for the players, requiring skill, strategy, and mental toughness to come out on top.

The GOLFZON Tour is not only a showcase of talent and competition but also a celebration of the growing popularity of simulator golf. As technology continues to advance, simulator golf has become an accessible and engaging way for golfers to practice, compete, and enjoy the game in a virtual environment. The GOLFZON Tour is a testament to the innovation and creativity within the golf industry, providing a platform for players to connect, compete, and experience the thrill of tournament golf.
