Scottie Scheffler, the World No.1 golfer, is on track for a return to action after undergoing hand surgery. The recovery process has been going well, and Scheffler is hopeful of getting back on the course soon. He has not committed to playing in the upcoming AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but he is expected to make a decision on his schedule in the next few days to a week.

The injury occurred while Scheffler was making Christmas dinner, specifically ravioli, and resulted in a puncture wound to the palm of his right hand from a broken glass. Despite the setback, Scheffler has been seen back in the gym and is preparing for his return to competitive golf. He had to miss the season’s opening event at The Sentry and The American Express due to the injury.

In 2024, Scheffler had a phenomenal season, winning nine titles, including a Masters, an Olympic gold medal, and the PGA Tour Player of the Year for a third consecutive season. He amassed over $65 million in earnings throughout the year, solidifying his status as one of the top golfers in the world.

The 28-year-old golfer may make his return at the WM Phoenix Open, a tournament he has won twice in 2022 and 2023. While his participation in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is still uncertain, fans are eagerly awaiting his comeback to the golf course. Scheffler’s absence has been felt in the early part of the season, but his recovery progress indicates that he will be back in action soon.

Scheffler’s injury and subsequent surgery came as a surprise to many, considering his dominance on the course in 2024. The news of his injury while preparing dinner highlighted the unpredictability of sports and the importance of staying healthy for athletes. Despite the setback, Scheffler is determined to make a successful return and continue his winning ways on the PGA Tour.

Fans and golf enthusiasts can stay updated on Scheffler’s progress by subscribing to the Golf Monthly newsletter, which provides the latest tour news, equipment reviews, head-to-head comparisons, and buyer’s guides. With Scheffler’s potential return to the WM Phoenix Open, there is excitement building around the prospect of seeing the World No.1 back in action and competing for more titles in the upcoming season.

As Scheffler continues his recovery and rehabilitation, he remains focused on getting back to peak performance and contending for championships. His successful track record and determination to bounce back from injury make him a formidable competitor on the PGA Tour. Golf fans can look forward to seeing Scheffler back on the course and showcasing his skills in the upcoming tournaments.
